Cantar do Grilo – Rural tourism in Serpa
Single-family dwelling and rural tourism building built in rammed earth and a reinforced concrete structure. Vaulted reed roofs and craftwork brick tile floors. Traditional render of aerated lime paste and whitewash with the addition of natural pigments.
Betão e Taipa undertook the entire building project, choosing, correcting, stabilising and characterising the soil (granulometry and consistency limit) and carrying out strength tests.
